Overview
Our client is looking for a Roof Truss Designer with strong MiTek experience to join their team in Edmonton. This role focuses on designing efficient, code-compliant roof truss systems for residential, multi-family, and light commercial projects. You'll work closely with sales, production, and customers to deliver accurate designs that move seamlessly from concept to manufacturing. Location: Edmonton, AB — In office Key Responsibilities
Design roof truss systems using MiTek software (Sapphire preferred) Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop accurate layouts Produce truss design drawings, layouts, and material take-offs Ensure designs meet applicable building codes, engineering standards, and project requirements Support the sales team with estimates, take-offs, and value engineering opportunities Communicate with builders, contractors, and internal teams to clarify design requirements Revise designs based on feedback, site conditions, or ...
