Senior Optical Sensor Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
MKS Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Photon Control Inc. to spearhead the design of state-of-the-art optical sensor solutions for sophisticated semiconductor applications.
As part of the Advanced Development group, you will leverage your proficiency in mechanical and thermal simulations to lead projects from concept to implementation. The role requires a collaborative approach to innovate and develop mechanical systems that enhance optical sensor performance while conducting thorough tests and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mechanical designs for optical sensor platforms
• Conduct detailed thermal and mechanical simulations
• Collaborate across teams to drive optical and thermal system integration
• Perform FEA and RSS tolerance analysis for new products
• Source and communicate with component suppliers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years of hands-on experience with mechanical systems
