About Our Client: Our client, located in Scarborough (4 days in office), is an exciting & dynamic utilities company and looking for a Senior Manager, Tax to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the entire Tax team, including overall management of the tax compliance process (Canadian and US) for corporations, trusts, and partnerships, prepared by Big 4 accounting firms.
- Correspondence with CRA, Revenue Quebec, IRS, and other tax authorities as the main point of contact.
- Review select HST/GST/QST compliance of corporate entities and development.
- Annual filings for Selected Listed Financial Institution (HST/GST/QST).
- Work with the finance team in preparing tax projections.
- Research and analyze tax matters and inquiries related to tax planning strategies for new projects.
