Senior GIS Developer for Weather Network
Job Description
Take the lead in GIS development at Pelmorex, responsible for enhancing applications that support weather data visualization. This hybrid role in Oakville, ON, offers a flexible working schedule.
As a vital member of the team, you will help design and maintain enterprise GIS applications with a focus on improving user experience. The position is contract until December 2026 and requires candidates eligible to work in Canada, with 3+ years of GIS development experience using ESRI's ArcGIS products and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the design and maintenance of GIS applications
• Integrate functionality to automate processes
• Collaborate with developers on custom solutions
• Ensure optimal performance of existing GIS systems
• Conduct quality assurance for new developments
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Experience with relational and geospatial database management
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, and Python
