Job Description
Become a vital part of a leading General Contractor in Edmonton, Alberta, as a Senior Estimator. This role focuses on preparing competitive budgets and managing bid lifecycles for projects valued between $2M and $20M.
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to enhance their pre-construction team. Reporting to the Chief Estimator, this position requires expertise in quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and construction schedules. You’ll play a key role in risk analysis and collaborate closely with subcontractors and suppliers throughout the bidding process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review tender documents and specifications thoroughly
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor and materials
• Develop preliminary construction schedules and logistics plans
• Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies
• Present estimates during bid review meetings
