Senior Data Engineer: Microsoft Fabric & Synapse
Job Description
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines across ingestion, transformation, and analytics layers.
- Develop and optimize data workflows using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse) and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Implement ELT pipelines using Fabric pipelines, Synapse pipelines, and notebooks, integrating multiple data sources.
- Design and implement lakehouse architectures using Delta tables and medallion approach (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
- Build and optimize semantic models and datasets for Power BI integration and advanced analytics consumption.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and lineage using Fabric and Azure-native capabilities.
- Optimize performance and cost across Fabric and Synapse workloads.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
