Lead the evolution of VendorPM's platform as a Senior Backend Engineer in downtown Toronto. Utilize your expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS while working in a hybrid model.
VendorPM is seeking a Senior Engineer to collaborate closely with leadership and product teams. This vital role focuses on enhancing the backend systems that support over 10,000 buildings and 70,000 vendors. With at least five years of experience in software engineering, you'll design, develop, and maintain critical product features.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain scalable backend features using Node.js and TypeScript
• Enhance performance and performance with a focus on REST and GraphQL
• Optimize database interactions with PostgreSQL and AWS services
• Participate in code reviews ensuring quality and reliability
• Support complex data relationships and workflows
