Wawanesa is hiring a Senior Actuarial Analyst to enhance our pricing strategies through advanced modeling techniques. Collaborate with team leaders while mentoring junior analysts.
As a member of the Pricing Research and Development team, you will develop and enhance loss cost models that empower pricing strategy and member rate optimization. Your experience will enrich the mentoring of actuarial staff and you will analyze industry trends. This role demands strong analytical capabilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform complex data analysis and quality assessments
• Recommend improvements for existing actuarial processes
• Foster automation of analytical tasks and solutions
• Oversee projects ensuring successful implementation
• Guide and develop analytical skills in junior staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or similar
• More than four years of actuarial practice
• 7 CAS exams or ACAS...
