Job Description
Lionsgate Canada seeks a Senior Accountant in Reporting Finance to streamline accounting processes and oversee financial reporting activities. Play a key role in managing payroll and intercompany transactions.
As part of the Finance team, you will report directly to the Director and facilitate quarterly closings. The role encompasses preparing financial packs, maintaining comprehensive records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your ability to communicate effectively will be critical for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain detailed records for leases and fixed assets
• Ensure accurate payroll entries and reconciliations
• Oversee intercompany transactions and FX entries
• Administer Canadian tax filings and timely return submissions
• Generate reports for management and board review
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA designation preferred
