Senior Accountant

We’re seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team in downtown Edmonton. This is an opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys financial reporting, analysis, process improvement, and mentoring junior team members.

This role will play a key part in the preparation and review of financial reporting, period-end close activities, and business analysis while partnering closely with operational and finance leaders.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial results and provide meaningful insights to leadership
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
• Review work completed by junior and intermediate accountants
