Senior Accountant - 3 months

Our client in the communications and power industry is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a 3-month contract . This role follows a hybrid working arrangement requiring a hybrid work environment each week at their Georgetown office.

Responsibilities

• Lead balance sheet reconciliation cleanup, including historical data review, T-accounts, and documenting findings
• Support month-end activities, including journal entries, intercompany, accruals, fixed assets, and reporting
• Work heavily in Excel and assist with ad hoc analysis, process improvement, and data mining

Qualifications

• CPA Designated or currently in program, preferred
• Strong Senior Accountant profile with a mature technical accounting background
• Manufacturing experience required; JDE experience is a strong asset but not a hard must-have.
