Join the safety team at the Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education as a Casual Security Officer. Engage in fulfilling patrol duties and emergency responses in a supportive environment.
As a Security Officer, you will ensure the safety of students and staff by monitoring the premises during all shifts. Your experience and skills will be utilized for incident investigations, documenting occurrences, and conducting First Aid as needed. This position is ideal for those with a background in security or law enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol building and surrounding grounds repeatedly
• Respond to incidents and emergencies swiftly
• Document thefts, vandalism and other occurrences
• Provide training support for new security officers
• Monitor surveillance cameras as necessary
Requirements:
• Security License valid in Nova Scotia
• First Aid & CPR - Level C certification essential
• English fluency required, both spoken and written
