School Psychologist
Job Description
All positions within Learning Services engage in supporting the District’s Strategic Plan, specifically, Strategic Priority 1: Success for all Learners and Strategic Priority 2: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The School Psychologist position includes opportunities to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment in the context of the Learning Services Department and with school personnel. This position also involves professional consultation and supporting educational changes in a variety of contexts.
The successful candidate will also:
- Provide collaborative consultation with teachers, parents, and community agencies, and at school-based team meetings
- Provide ongoing collaborative planning for students and classrooms and assist with pre-referral interventions
- Provide individualized psycho-educational assessments (based on student need) for students referred through the school-based team process
