School Bus Instructor - Continuing Education Contract VEHC 1805
Location: Saskatchewan Polytechnic Saskatoon Campus.
Contract period: 07/01/2026 to 06/30/2027.
Contract rate: $65.00 per hour.
Course dates: November 9, 10, 12, 13, 2026 and February 16-19, 2027.
Total contract hours: 40 hours.
Job Duties
Planning and instruction for technicians involved in the service/repair/inspection of Commercial School Buses. Training is recognized by Saskatchewan Gov’s In Insurance. The instructor must be available to teach offerings for Continuing Education.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Saskatchewan Journeyperson Certificate in Heavy Equipment or Truck and Transport Trades.
- Two years’ recent/relevant post-Journeyperson experience in the aforementioned trades.
- Demonstrated knowledge of truck airbrake systems.
