Safety Advisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to a HSE Director, Health and Safety Advisor and working daily with Operations and the project/operations Management team – the Safety Advisor will be the main contact for health and safety issues across projects and work groups assigned.

• Emulates Forbes Bros core value of 'WE WORK SAFE' in all daily tasks
• Provide guidance to field employees and Foreman on the proper/safe execution of work tasks according to client, regulatory and company standards
• Function as a change agent in the transition to an interdependent culture
• Assist Workers, Supervisors, Managers and Leadership in performing hazard assessments, workplace inspections, incident investigations, and assessing compliance with applicable legislation and internal/customer protocols
