Job Summary

Pay: $21 per hour for a 4-day week shift. The Shred-it Route Driver is responsible for providing industry‑leading levels of service to clients while taking care of all customer document destruction needs, including transporting supplies and materials, securely and in accordance with company policy and all local and federal laws. This involves loading, unloading the delivery vehicle and ensuring that all cargo is safely secured before transport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information.

Performs pre/post‑trip checks, and driver check‑in on assigned truck prior to leaving or closing for the day. Reports maintenance issues to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow‑up.

Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner in an effort to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage.
