Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced band 6 midwife to join our team here at NHS Fife.
Responsibilities
Assist, lead, nurture and develop the maternity service.
Provide evidence‑based, safe and effective care to pregnant women and families.
Deliver education and training to the multidisciplinary team, acting as practice assessor and supervisor for student midwifery cohorts.
Support the complex care Consultant Unit, Midwife‑Led Unit, Planned Caesarean Section team and Induction of Labour Suite.
Qualifications
Experienced registered NMC midwife at band 6 level.
Degree‑level education.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Enthusiastic, passionate about midwifery and woman‑and‑family centred care.
