Job Description
Position
An exciting opportunity is available for a Specialist Respiratory Physician to join a growing respiratory department within a major regional health service. The role involves providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient respiratory care, with responsibilities including bronchoscopy, intercostal chest drain insertion, and management of patients requiring non-invasive ventilation.
The position also involves participation in a General Medicine on-call roster, respiratory consultations, and active involvement in departmental education, supervision of trainees, and clinical leadership.
You will contribute to quality improvement, risk management, and the development of safe, evidence-based practices across multidisciplinary teams. There is strong emphasis on collaboration with other specialties, GPs, and healthcare providers across the district.
