Join the Renal Program as a Dialysis Assistant, where you will assist nursing staff in providing top-notch care for dialysis patients at Waterloo Regional Health Network.
This position demands collaboration within a multidisciplinary team while working at various WRHN sites and satellite units. Ideal candidates will hold a Dialysis Assistant Certificate, possess knowledge of hospital procedures, and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for effective patient interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in delivering patient care in the renal department
• Collaborate effectively with nursing and support staff
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients
• Carry out aseptic techniques and hospital protocols
• Participate as a Code White Responder when needed
