Registered Veterinary Technician

Vitalis Health Strategies is recruiting registered Veterinary Technologists (RVTs) for a multi‑site veterinary practice in Fort Vermilion and High Level, Northern Alberta. All experience levels are encouraged to apply, including recent graduates and seasoned professionals.

Scope of Practice

• Patient intake, history taking, and triage support
• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Surgical preparation and instrument handling
• Diagnostic imaging (radiography, ultrasound support)
• In‑house laboratory diagnostics (hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, cytology)
• Medication dispensing and controlled substance management in compliance with ABVMA standards
• Client education and discharge instruction
• Vaccine administration and preventive care protocols
• Large animal and farm call support (where applicable)
• Medical recordkeeping and practice management software documentation
