Registered Practical Nurse – REHABILITATION (CASUAL) (OS)

DEPARTMENT: REHABILITATION, POSITION LOCATION: OWEN SOUND, UNION AFFILIATION: OPSEU – SERVICE, STATUS: CASUAL, WAGE RATE: $37,071 - $38,157

Reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation and District Stroke Services, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) is responsible for the assessment, care, and treatment of rehabilitative patients to attain or maintain optimal function. Care is provided to support patients and families within an inter‑professional context with a large focus on patient‑specific goals and family participation. Rehabilitation is dedicated to improving, maintaining, or restoring physical strength, cognition, and mobility with maximized results. The RPN will work within the full defined professional scope of practice as set out by the CNO.

QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED

• Ontario College of Nurses registration or eligibility
• Demonstrated ability to work at the full scope of practice as defined by the CNO and required by department
