The Registered Practical Nurse provides person-centered care as a member of the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA), the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice, and the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario. The role provides professional nursing care to residents and supervises care given by health care staff while ensuring quality person-focused health care that aligns with the Fixed Long Term Care Act standards and the Mission, Vision, and Values of Providence Care Centre.
