Lakeridge Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its PACU on a Temporary Part Time basis. This rewarding role focuses on delivering exceptional care in a multidisciplinary team workplace. Reporting directly to the Patient Care Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating and optimizing care for surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan effective care for surgical patients
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a team setting
• Implement patient safety and infection control best practices
• Facilitate patient education about post-operative care
• Monitor and manage hemodynamic parameters as required
• Utilize your nursing expertise to improve patient outcomes at Lakeridge Health's PACU in Oshawa

Requirements

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Valid BCLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical Care or ED background preferred
