Job Description
Elevate resident care quality as a Registered Nurse. You will oversee nursing standards and aid in developing plans while ensuring proper techniques adhere to protocols.
This nursing position involves supervising staff while assisting in assessing and implementing care plans. You will monitor residents' health, report necessary changes, and facilitate referrals. Additionally, prepare for RAI MDS and manage the facility in the absence of the Director of Care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to nursing standards and physician orders
• Assist in developing and evaluating resident care plans
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff on the unit
• Facilitate preparation for RAI MDS assessments
• Manage facility operations in the Director's absence
Requirements:
• Current certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario
• Preferred managerial experience in long-term care
