Registered Nurse - ICU (Temporary Part-Time)

ROLE

• Provide optimum quality of intensive patient care.
• Evaluate patients, and co‑ordinate and provide total patient care and other assigned duties according to policies and procedures of Critical Care/Step Down Unit.
• Give medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician to Critical Care/Step Down Unit patients.
• Performs ECG’s as required.
• Responsible for physician orders, requisitions and all charting of patients under his/her care.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Code Blue procedures and duties and assumes charge position until doctor arrives; supervises staff members involved in Code Blue procedures.
