Halton Healthcare is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Registered Nurse specializing in Surgical Day Care in Georgetown. Engage in exemplary patient care while working with a dynamic team.
In this role, you will implement the nursing process for surgical day patients, providing care in PACU and the Pre-Admission Clinic. Strong candidates will possess at least 3-5 years of relevant nursing experience and certifications including current BLS and ACLS. Your commitment to high-quality care is paramount to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care tailored to surgical day patients
• Manage and support post-anesthesia recovery
• Perform pre-admission evaluations and procedures
• Administer IV medications and monitor patient responses
• Team up with healthcare professionals for optimal outcomes
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 3-5 years Surgical Day Care and PACU experience
• Required BLS and ACLS certifications
