Registered Nurse- Cancer Clinic

Position Summary

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and practice activities in an outpatient oncology clinic. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering chemotherapeutic agents, providing comprehensive education to patients and families, and delivering holistic nursing care that addresses emotional, psychological, spiritual and physical needs of oncology patients and their families. The candidate will act as a navigator to support patients through the continuum of care. The incumbent must possess strong empathic communication skills, advanced knowledge and competence in the care of Central Venous Access Devices (CVAD) and superb skill in inserting challenging peripheral vascular devices.
