Job Description
Enhance elder care at Southbridge as a Registered Dietitian. This part-time role in St. Catharines focuses on nutritional assessments, personalized meal planning, and team collaboration.
As a vital part of the Clinical Team, you will engage with the Food Service Manager and Director of Care to address residents’ nutrition and hydration needs. Your expertise in geriatric nutrition will help develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans, ensuring meals are both nutritious and enjoyable. Excellent communication and organizational skills are critical to successful team interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nutritional assessments using RAI MDS 2.0
• Develop individualized nutritional plans and interventions
• Review seasonal menus for nutritional adequacy
• Educate residents and families on nutrition and hydration
• Participate in interdisciplinary committees for resident care
