Purchasing Specialist (Medellín)

Position Purpose

To execute purchasing decisions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that orders are placed correctly, delivered on time, and aligned with negotiated terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit purchase orders.
• Follow up with national and international suppliers.
• Confirm pricing, discounts, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure accurate system registration of all orders.
• Coordinate product reception with the Inventory team.
• Maintain professional communication with suppliers (in Spanish and English).

Requirements

• Technical, technological, or professional degree in Business, Trade, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or order management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel.
