Support manager in locating and identifying new vendors of materials or supplies, meet them and negotiate prices, agreements and agree terms of sales which is most beneficial to the company.
Understand the impact of your actions on the financial results of the company.
Look for effective ways to reduce costs.
Timely follow-up on the invoices and submit to the finance department for payment, where ever relevant to ensure smooth payment process for our suppliers.
Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained regarding quotations, purchase orders, invoices etc.
Actively promote the IKEA social and environmental commitment and work with my team to understand how, together, we can contribute to sustainability.
Commit to the high standards of ethical conduct when dealing with suppliers and customers and embrace the IKEA way.
Any security breaches must be notified concerned authority and manager.<...
