Responsibilities
- The Purchasing Manager is responsible for the effective leadership and management of the Purchasing team. This role will represent the Tactical Purchasing Organization in supplier and/or customer interactions and drive operational improvement through the implementation of best practices.
- Mentor and manage purchasing team leads to ensure optimum effectiveness while acting as a role model and projecting a positive attitude. This includes monitoring workload distribution among team members and allocating tasks appropriately.
- Evaluate employee potential, drive succession planning, and ensure team members receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
- Ensure all Purchasing activities strictly adhere to company corporate policies and ethical sourcing standards.
