Psychologist

Overview

Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for a Full-time (1.0 FTE) Registered Psychologist to provide services predominately to children in our Early Childhood Services schools from Whitecourt to Onoway. The successful applicant will provide a wide range of effective diagnostic, treatment, educational and consultation psychological services to students in our schools by working collaboratively with the Division team, students, families, administration, educational staff, and external agencies. They will provide psychological expertise and participate in multidisciplinary teams to support social emotional well-being and learning strategies for students and their families as well as individual and broad based support for teachers and school teams. The person is committed to providing person-centered, compassionate, evidence-based, and trauma-informed general mental health assessment and counselling.
