Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager specializing in Heavy Civil and Mining at a major oil and gas operator in Calgary. This long-term contract role focuses on driving performance in safety, cost, schedule, and quality for capital projects.
The Project Manager will lead an integrated team through Stage 2 development, managing projects valued between $100M and $300M. You will have accountability for assembling teams, overseeing contractor performance, and driving project competitiveness through effective planning and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a cross-functional team focused on safety and quality
• Set Gate dates and align project plans with objectives
• Ensure timely completion of FEL2 deliverables
• Collaborate with stakeholders on project strategies and objectives
• Develop the Project Road Map and secure stakeholder approval
