Program Manager, Practicum & Field Experience

UBC has posted an opening for a Program Manager, Practicum & Field Experience. The role will play a key part in designing, delivering and evaluating practicum and field experience programs for teacher candidates in the Teacher Education Program.

Responsibilities

• Analyse key performance indicators of the program on a term basis and evaluate overall success on an annual basis.
• Collaborate with other Program Managers to ensure optimal synergy in delivery of services across all practicum programs.
• Create and deliver monthly large‑group seminars to prepare teacher candidates and faculty advisors for practicum and field experiences.
• Meet with individual students to offer career advice and guidance.
• Work with software programmers to negotiate, co‑create and provide ongoing evaluation and revision suggestions for an electronic observation/reporting software program.
