OVERVIEW
The Welcoming Communities Program Coordinator will direct the implementation of USCRI’s Welcoming Communities Program, conducted in its Aguascalientes field office and implemented across Mexico. The program aims to create a new narrative regarding forced displacement and migration in Mexico. Through the mobilization of university campuses, this program has the objective to catalyze institutional capacities in the higher education system in Mexico to induce systemic change that leads to communities that are hospitable to refugees and conscious of the value of the cultural diversity that refugees and migrants bring. The Welcoming Communities Program Coordinator will be responsible to plan and execute the three components of the program: allied university network, student committees network, and refugee student councils.
