The Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the scheduling, coordination, and inventory management of sheet metal manufacturing operations.
This role ensures efficient workflow across fabrication, assembly, paint, and integration, optimizing production schedules while maintaining inventory accuracy to support on-time delivery (OTD) and cost efficiency.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the master production schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand and company objectives.
- Release, monitor, and adjust work orders based on capacity, material availability, and shop floor progress.
- Coordinate with department supervisors to ensure smooth workflow across all production stages (fabrication, assembly, paint, and integration).
- Expedite critical orders and resolve scheduling conflicts to meet OTD goals.
