Principal Engineer - Ground Engineering and Tunnelling (Bogotá)

Responsibilities

• Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer in tunnelling projects
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures in geotechnical engineering with emphasis on rock data
• Requires developmental experience in a professional position relating to tunnelling projects
• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments concerning tunnelling projects
• Provides guidance to entry-level engineers in geotechnical engineering with emphasis on rock mechanics and tunnelling
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests for tunnelling projects
