Practicas Npi Sourcing (Monterrey)

Role Summary
We are Wabtec Corporation's NPI Sourcing department.
This role gives support to NPI Buyers through executing the Request for Quote (RFQ) Process in a timely manner, initiating and expediting the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and assisting buyers in achieving key NPI fulfillment metrics.
Essential Responsibilities
Execute Request for Quote (RFQ) Process with suppliers and follow up to ensure timely return of quotes.
Initiate PPAP requests, participate in PPAP review boards to ensure timely launch of supplier PPAP's, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely part qualification.
Communicate with suppliers to receive component promise dates, and expedite material as necessary to ensure timely delivery to the production shop floor.
Contribute to projects as a team member within the NPI Fulfillment organization and support buyers in other tasks as necessary to ensure NPI Fulfillment team success.
