As a Transmission and Interconnection Engineer, you will develop complex power system simulations using EMTP software. Your responsibilities include coaching team members and ensuring seamless interconnection planning for renewable resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop assumptions and modeling for power system studies
• Perform simulations and analyze results using EMTP and PSCAD
• Conduct transmission planning and grid interconnection analyses
• Mentor team members in EMTP special studies
• Address oscillatory issues and transient phenomena
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in power system simulation programs
• Proficient in leading network reduction software
