Job Description
Support Pomerleau's construction efforts as a Health and Safety Coordinator. Focus on implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance across significant projects.
You will play a critical role in overseeing health and safety measures on projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. Collaborating with supervisors and the Health & Safety team, you'll be responsible for inspections, developing safety programs, and taking proactive measures against hazards. This position requires a hands-on approach to maintaining site safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the safety prevention program
• Proactively identify and mitigate hazardous situations
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations
• Conduct accident investigations and inspections
• Compile safety reports and statistics monthly
