Platemaker (Intaglio) Leader

Summary This position is located at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Intaglio/Ink-Roller/Prepress Division, WCF in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Platemaker (Intaglio) Leader, you will assist the craft foreman in the administration and execution of routine work of intaglio platemaking and give guidance on standard procedures and make adjustments to techniques and procedures, when required. You will perform all the duties associated with the manufacturing of intaglio printing plates. Responsibilities As a Platemaker (Intaglio) Leader, you will: Prepare and maintain chemical solutions, tanks, filters, pumps, anodes, and regulating devices, and perform daily routine monitoring of plating tank parameters including temperature, pH, density, etc., as prescribed by supervisor, for electroplating nickel, chromium, acid pickling, electrocleaning, or deplating.
