This position is at the L09 level with an hourly pay range of $45.62 - $60.93 (PIPSC Bargaining Unit).

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager, Therapy Services, the Physiotherapist (PT) plans, organizes, directs, and delivers physiotherapy services for the assigned clinical area to the clients/patients and staff of the Yukon Hospital Corporation facilities. Provides PT services to enable clients/patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes, by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Performs assessments of the client’s physical status, functional ability and needs and goals, establishes a physiotherapy diagnosis and prognosis, develops and implements an intervention strategy, evaluates the effectiveness of the intervention, and communicates with the client/family and health care team members.
