Job Description
POSITION LOCATION: WIARTON. DEPARTMENT: ALLIED HEALTH. UNION AFFILIATION: OPSEU – HPD. STATUS: FULL-TIME, TEMPORARY (APPROX. END DATE MAY 2027). REASON TO POST: DIRECT REPLACEMENT. WAGE RATE: $40.36 - $56.30.
Reporting to the Manager of Interprofessional Practice, the Physiotherapist assesses patients, plans and carries out individually designed treatment programs to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical deconditioning in patients.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a University Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Current Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario or eligibility
- Excellent professional judgment, conflict resolution and interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, team members, students and community partners
