Physician - General Surgery

Summary We are looking for a skilled general surgeon at Fredericksburg Veterans Affairs Health Care Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This is a full-time position with no call responsibilities. The General Surgeon is responsible for providing a broad range of general surgical services in an outpatient clinic environment, including general surgical evaluations, minor surgical procedures appropriate to an ambulatory setting, and the full spectrum of pre-operative and post-operative patient management. Responsibilities The Fredericksburg Veterans Affairs Health Care Center offers a comprehensive range of outpatient services for Veterans in the Northern Virginia and Central Virginia area, including Primary Care and Mental Health services. The establishment of this new health care center is part of the Central Virginia VA Health Care System and the Veterans Health Administration's initiative to enhance access to care for Veterans.
