The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant/Clinical Assistant for a full‑time position in Pediatric Hospital Medicine at the Health Sciences Centre.
Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant/Clinical Assistant will be required to perform, order, and interpret diagnostic, therapeutic investigations/interventions. Duties may include performing history and physical exams in a variety of settings such as the Emergency Department and wards, and following patients in the pre‑peri/post‑operative ward and other clinical settings.
Physician Assistants/Clinical Assistants will attend clinical and educational rounds. Administrative requirements include standard practice recordings of all patient encounters, which may involve dictation or use of electronic medical records when available.
