Physical Education and Wellness / Grade 5/6 Math & Science Teacher

The successful candidate

will demonstrate:Training and/or experience teaching Physical Education across multiple grade divisions would be considered an asset.Training and/or experience teaching Division II Math and Science would be considered an asset.Experience coaching school athletic programs and supporting extracurricular activities would be considered an asset.Qualifications and General DutiesThe successful candidate will possess:A valid Alberta Teaching CertificateA student-centered philosophy committed to maximizing student learning in a safe and caring environmentExperience and/or training in Assessment for Learning, including formative and summative assessment practicesProficiency with Google Workspace for Education and educational technology to support communication, collaboration, and student learningThe ability to foster positive relationships and create a strong sense of belonging for studentsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate ...
