Job Summary

PetSmart’s Pet Groomer Trainee (Pet Stylist in Training) engages with pet parents and their pets, providing positive experiences and best‑in‑class salon services. The role receives instruction from experienced Professional Styling teams, supports store cleanliness, recommends solutions for pet parents, and ensures pet safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Performs full menu of bath, brush and grooming services and standalone services (nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services) in accordance with PetSmart’s bathing standards.
• Demonstrates safe technical skills that meet or exceed the company’s minimum expectations.
• Recommends additional health and wellness solutions with pet parents based on pets’ needs.
