Responsibilities

• Under the direction of RN/RPN, perform assigned functions that support the health care team in assisting patients with activities of daily living and in maintaining effective department operations.
• Provide direct and indirect care to patients under RN/RPN direction, including personal care such as bathing, grooming, skin care, mouth care, dressing, toileting, lifts/transfers, mobility assistance, feeding, and call bell responses.
• Report significant patient presentation to registered nursing staff to ensure patient safety.
