Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for a senior couple living independently in a Mississauga condo near the golf course. The husband recently underwent knee replacement surgery and is in the recovery phase. He uses a walker for mobility outside the home and moves about independently within the apartment, though he can be reluctant to use his walker consistently. He also has Parkinson’s disease, which affects his memory and cognition. The wife is his primary caregiver but recently recovered from pneumonia and needs respite support. Both clients value their independence but recognize the need for additional assistance during this recovery period. The husband can be particular about his preferences and may initially be resistant to accepting help from someone new, so patience and a warm, engaging approach are essential.
