Personal Support Worker – Home Support
Job Details
Location: 1900 City Park Drive, Suite 3rd Floor Office 322, Gloucester, ON K1J 1A3. Work location: On site.
Schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend. Overtime required. Starts as soon as possible.
Salary: $36.10 per hour for 35 hours per week.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time.
Responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Administer medications
- Assist clients in water (i.e., pool)
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- Collect specimens
- Demonstrate infant care to new parents
- Feed or assist in feeding
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Plan therapeutic diets and menus
- Provide companionship
- Provide personal care
